But yeah Johnny Rotten got my vote,and Green Day is not punk.

Green Day are punk. Maybe not on American Idiot, but on prior records like Kerplunk, Dookie etc. what would you class them?

I say we should let Green Day in this discussion just so that they can be totally & utterly humiliated by the likes of H.R. , Derby Crash , Jerry A and Dave Vainian.

It's not a case of me wanting them humiliated , it's just compared to real bands as opposed to spoonfed MTV shite it's inevitable.

Lets just say it's a bit like pairing off your 90 year old great grandmother against Mike Tyson in his prime.
