Best Punk album of all time?

But I do not care about what is classified as "overrated", I find the term hass lost all meaning now and is just thrown around as a way of saying if i do not think something that is widely accepted as being great is great myself, it is overrated. which to me is just silly.

I think it is like trying to understand any act like this. Being there when it happened, compared to coming to the party late.

We grew up in a time when The Ramones always existed, so to us it is old news. To those who saw it first hand and were a part of it understand it in a way that differs.

No problem. It reminds me of the studio demo version that they did, that was tacked on for the deluxe reissues of albums:

I like the faster tempo here. Both versions are great, but this one just has that energy.

I listen to punk very rare and i can say, System of Down, Album - Toxicity was impressive for me.

It's not a punk album, but a nu metal album, which is kind of a hated genre by ''eletist metalheads''. Nu metal is a subgenre of alternative metal if I'm correct.
I can see why you'd think it's punk though, because it does have elements of punk, but it's not really a punk genre.

I love The Ramones, but I can definitely see how they could be considered overrated. They get a lot of praise, and I understand the praise, but some people act like what they were doing was something that had never been done before. Yeah, it wasn't called punk rock, but old rockabilly and r&b acts from the 50s, as well as surf and garage rock bands from the 60s were doing stuff pretty similar. Not that The Ramones weren't original or anything, they definitely were.

The voidoids part is what I'm not sure of.

It's spelled V-O-I-D-O-I-D-S but it's pronounced Throat Warbler Mangrove
