Default Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards!

What do you think of LFATB? Like 'em or hate 'em?

It took me a while to get into them because I only heard a couple of songs off some comps, and really didnt like them. But I finally decided that you can't tell if you like a band from only one or two songs. So I listened to most of their songs (not a big deal, they only have 2 cd's out) and I must say, they are ****ing amazing. I really like everything about this band. Each song sounds different, they have great lyrics, a great sound, and Lars Frederiksen is a ****in' great guitarist and vocalist. If you havent heard them, or only heard one or two songs I reccomend checking them out right away!

Here's a thought; let's stop labeling music and fighting over what genre a certain band is, and start listening to whatever pleases our ears no matter what anyone thinks of it! ;)

I like them. Not as much as Rancid though. The Viking is probably my fave song by them. Switchblade is also pretty good.

Lars is trying to be "punk" because all the **** rancid has put out recently so he has to protect his ass by making Viking with lyrics about cutting peeps up with a switchblades, good job.

I think Lars "saved the day" on the last two Rancid albums. Look at the 2nd s/t- when Lars and Matt take over the vocals towards the last half of the album, sh*t gets intense. If you ask me, his short stint w/ the UK Subs and LFATB's debut s/t are good enough for me.
