They were weren't really that well known where I was, but among those who did, so many threw a War On Errorism tantrum, which is fair enough. Some of them have good reasons, but for others it was the first NOFX album they heard, they liked it, but then they decided to go "oldschool". It's them I feel sorry for.

I've seen the Cokie the Clown vids. My friends were all skate punks or dirtbag Metalers/crusties. Had a few friends who were huge into them. I think I just missed the boat on them. Gotta roll out, have a good one.

Ahh Crass, they're a decent band. Didn't their singer lead some sort of anti-piracy campaign not too long ago? I remember reading about that briefly..the punk torrenters weren't happy

If you took out NOFX and Dropkick Murphys that list would be decent enough for me. Looking forward to Fugazi they will be playing So-Cal shortly. All the people on that list are fairly main stream acts in the punk universe.

i just read this and almost cried

Fugazi to reform, release best-of, and tour with new line-up | superproduct

i mean i'm fine with a Fugazi reunion and even not with all the original members....i was able to see Fugazi several times throughout their carreer but understand how awesome it would be for younger fans to see them live (same with Jawbreaker)

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a Starbucks release greatest hits?
not releasing the greatest hits on Dischord but rather on fucking Interscope!!!!!!!!?
a new "hip" LOGO!~!@!!!????
selling the rights of Birthday Pony to Hallmark????!!!!

FUCK YOU IAN!

i officially give up completely on humanity.....bring on the fucking global warming....i can't wait to watch you all choke

I knew someone would pick that up and run. I've had the pleasure to have seen them previously many times. I think i'll still enjoy this Ian Mackaye sellout version also. Plus its a free ticket. I don't want to buy his cd's or shirts and certainly don't wanna buy his politics.
cheer up bob, global warming is a lie anyway. HEH

You forgot Mindless Self Indulgence. :(

Hell yeah! Flipper rule. One of the best bands to enjoy a dark descent into misanthropic nihilism with.
