That video was kind of a bust tbh until the last three seconds when Johnny was like "I think he'd be better as a painter and decorator." Just a knife in the kidneys right at the buzzer.

They were famous way way back ....before you had taken a first breath even..
not now.....your judging them like they just got in the hit parade....

Listen gobsnot...I was no Fan, never was in particular..but people need to appreciate that they made the Punk Movement Happen in the UK,,,,Facts not Fiction...

Well, I happen to think the Sex Pistols are (were) great, even if Johnny Rotten is an obnoxious snot

He was always that way...worse people out there... rubbersoul..much worse..he is a loud harmless being...at least he sticks by and nurses his very ill Wife...not all would or could have that much dedication.....

I remember when they first reported the Sex Pistols in the states (American radio wouldn't dare to actually play their records), the press was like the world was coming to an end. They scared the bejesus out of middle America

I totally agree, Dianne. I love the way he sincerely loves his wife so much, and is her full-timer carer and completely devoted to her. That's real love.

And his wife is the mother of the singer for The Slits so Johnny fuvking Rotten is Ari Up's stepdad. And he raised her kids cause apparently Ari Up isn't the most responsible person on earth. As opposed to Johnny Rotten.

All I know that they inspired New Order, or at least I think, so that is pretty cool. Power Corruption and Lies is a great album

edit: im dumb, I got my facts wrong. THey inspired the clash, not new order, still both great bands
