RVIVR's The Beauty Between was probably one of my favorite albums this year. It's catchy pop-punk from Olympia but it actually stands for something - which is something that keeps me going back to punk in the first place. They've got alternating male/female vocals, which is a nice dynamic. I'd probably compare them to Masked Intruder or Iron Chic. The band features Erica Freas (solo) and Matt Cannino of Latterman as well.

I was gonna make a thread about these guys but no one seems to post in the punk threads unless its about how punk is supposedly dead.... They're great! I play them in plug all the time and the new album was fantastic. Paper thin is an especially powerful track and their cover of resilient bastard kicks ass.

Those tracks are great, I've been kind of on a Rainspell kick.

Ooh, pop punk bands that stand for something! Does that also mean they don't sing about ex girlfriends and love all the time? I like those. edit: Listened to to a bit, musically kind of sounds like Banner Pilot and The Wonder Years. It's pretty nice.

About people not replying to threads, I dunno, this forum doesn't seem to be the most active. It's active among some regulars, but not all that active overall, and ofcourse scattered across different genres. The fact that the threads have no comments also somehow makes it likely others won't comment as well.

I really like these guys, The Beauty Between has some great songs in it, including an awesome three parter. The lyrics are great too, definitely have some meaning behind them.
