my boyfriend was playing the ATV offroad fury4 game on PS2 when i heard the unmistakable alkaline trio! turns out they wrote a new song for the game thats sick. i'm a HUGE alkaline trio song ever since maybe i'll catch fire and i was so pumped to hear this track. ive never been into video games but i spent this whole week racing trophy tucks to hear the rest of the soundtrack. i finally found some clips of the songs on the game's website... they got bands like senses fail and rock kills kid too. does anyone know anything about playstation soundtracks?? do they get released? i need this track!

I like Alkaline Trio but I really have to be in the mood to listen to them. I just get an urge to listen every other month but when I do, then I play them non-stop for days.

Normally it's From Here To Infirmary but I also make a playlist spanning all of their albums.

*Edit: I didn't realise how long it was since the last post.

It's quite good to blow the dust off and listen to 'From Here to Infirmary' every now and then... but not too much.
Crimson was just plain crap imo

i like the Crimson album too but there was a bit of disappointment there. but hey what can you do eh?

Not really random... it has Burn, Sadie and Smoke. i can't bring myself to listen to the rest of it

I don't think the writing is anything worse than what they've ever done but the production is just too um, well, "good" and by that I mean overdone.

Alkaline Trio's ok.
I'm not too big a fan of theirs but my favorite songs are: She took Him to the Lake, Fatally yours, Every Thug Needs a Lady, Smoke and Sorry About That

My favorite albums is probably Maybe I'll Catch Fire for no particular reason except that maybe She Took Him to the Lake has sentimental value for me. And after that it's Good Morning.
