I thought it would be good. I liked their radio singles at the time. I didn't even accept that I didn't like it at first. I thought maybe the problem was with me. It wasn't and it never grew on me at all and now I don't even like most of the songs I did like.

That reminds me of this review I read once of Radiohead's OK Computer where the guy said it took him something like 100 listens to start liking it. It really makes me wonder that if you're forcing yourself to like something, do you actually like it? I don't think so.

At least you had the decency to realize you didn't like Mellon Collie pretty quickly.

I know, I'd kill myself if I had to listen to Kid A a hundred times. I mean it's fine and Radiohead are decent to even pretty good at times, but I'll probably never listen to all of their albums combined a hundred times. Maybe not even fifty.

I've probably given Kid A around 20 fair shots over the years and the vocals are still irritating despite the music being aight.

Yorke's voice is fine. It's good for the atmosphere of their music but it's not something to get excited about. In Rainbows is a fun record though.

I can't get the image of him dancing like the drunkest white person on earth out of my head whenever I listen to their music and it doesn't really affect my enjoyment but it definitely hurts my ability to take Thom seriously as a person.
