It depends what genres they were into beforehand...

But I'd likely play something by Atmosphere, it's pretty accesible and appeals to the mainstream without being crap (Y)

Or I'd play Method Man by Wu Tang.

This is an easy question. I would play "No Regrets" by Aesop Rock. Really, I could play anything by him. The man is a genius.
