Depends on the sort of style you like, and exactly how old school you want to go. My favourite is that early 90s East Coast/New York sound, so you'd be looking for early Gangstarr, Eric B & Rakim, early Mobb Deep, Showbiz & AG, Lord Finesse, Illegal, Black Moon, Kool G Rap & DJ Polo, InI, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, etc. There are goldmines worth of stuff around.

Also, try Lords of the Underground, Heiroglyphics, Black Sheep, Main Source, Tuff Crew, Kurious, Casual (solo stuff), Artifacts, Gravediggaz, The D.O.C, Kam, Ant Banks, Spice 1, Brand Nubian, Boogie Down Productions, BG Knocc Out & Dresta, DJ Quik, MC Eiht, early Rap-a-Lot stuff, Organised Konfusion, O.C., The Future Sound, Ed OG & Da Bulldogs, Diamond D, Onyx, Souls of Mischief, Pooh Man, Tweety Bird Loc...the list goes on.

That's a really random list looking at what I own that I can see from here. It should be enough to get you started.
