Southern Rap is pretty horrible....the only good rappers from south you probably already know.....Chamillionaire and Rick Ross

southern rappers have no lyrical skills at all accept a select few the only reason they get to keep there jobs is because of the people who make there beats

Check out OutKast, Ludacris, Scarface, Chamillionaire, Bun B, T.I is what I can think of right now. Those are all good to very good artists, the best IMO is OutKast.
