even though they are very well known they are underground

These are indie rappers not underground: Underground rappers dont make money and they are still shopping for record deals.

My fav indie rappers:

1. Sage Francis - Complete package: Great Mc. One of the Best. Suprised lots of ppl has not heard of this cat! Just a shame.
2. Aesop Rock - Sometimes I wonder if he means what he is saying
3. Slug - I admire slug cuz he is always true to himself and the music is great

Lot others but dont feel like putting them down

again...probably more indie than underground
1. sage francis...probably my favorite...just unbelievable content showcased in some of the most creative, intricate rhymes
2. eyedea (and abilities)...same comment..."first born" may be the hip hop equivalent of the best of Terrence McKenna's insights wrapped up into song-form
3. louis logic and others i'm still looking into or don't even know about yet
