Ehh, it was okay, but a part of me is kind of worrying this will be the hip hop equivalent of Chinese Democracy

This album is going to be painful when it comes out. I'll still always love all three of them, but they really should have made this album a long time ago when they did what they do better. :(

Gave this a listen yesterday. I really dug it, especially the first half. could become a 2013 favorite upon further listens.

I thought it was pretty good, probably not good enough to live up to the hype of 13 years in the making but it was serviceable and had some great tracks. I haven't really been blown away by a lot of hip hop this year so this will probably just go on my list by default. I really get the sense that he rewrote a lot of the songs around late 2011-2012 because I'm getting a real Occupy vibe from some of the subject matter which could explain why the release was pushed back so much.
