Deltron 3030

We don't have a thread on them and we should because the new albums coming out this year. Surprisingly wikipedia has a really nice summary of all the information: Deltron Event II - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia So yeah, discuss their fantastic debut as well as the great work they did on the Gorillaz album. I think my favorite song is Madness

Ehh, it was okay, but a part of me is kind of worrying this will be the hip hop equivalent of Chinese Democracy

Ugh. I already knew that Del has fallen off, but Dan the Automator and Kid Koala too?
This album is going to be painful when it comes out. I'll still always love all three of them, but they really should have made this album a long time ago when they did what they do better. :(

I'm really, really sorry but..

Yeah, I am slightly worried too.

I thought it was pretty good, probably not good enough to live up to the hype of 13 years in the making but it was serviceable and had some great tracks. I haven't really been blown away by a lot of hip hop this year so this will probably just go on my list by default. I really get the sense that he rewrote a lot of the songs around late 2011-2012 because I'm getting a real Occupy vibe from some of the subject matter which could explain why the release was pushed back so much.
