Bleubird.

Rapidfire delivery, the use of alliteration more often than rhyming, an indie rock attitude with B-Boy swagger, and lyrical technique which finds him a spot in my heart where I consider him to be like a Canadian Aesop Rock, or even more so, a Canadian Sole.

I like him, he's really not bad at all, I'm definitely going to look for some more of his work. Any recommendations?

RIP U$A/The Birdfleu is probably his best album. So, get that, and get Sloppy Doctor. Get them together, they're pretty much two sides of the same coin, sound-wise.

You can check out the Street Talk mixtape things, but the previous two LPs are necessities. If you'd like, I'll look for links. If I can't find any, I'll up them sometime or you can just find them on soulseek.

That's intense.

I'm liking this.

Edit: I think I teared up a little bit. =3

I'M so wishy-washy. =P

His delivery is Sole-esque, which can only be good.

does he have an album out? or does anyone know where i can get a hold of a few tracks? he seems pretty good, i'd like to hear more but i cant seem to find anything.

The other songs didn't hit me like this one did, though... and it's a cover.

Is rapping over someone else's beat a "cover?" Just wondering.

He takes a while to get into, if you're not already into his style of rapping. What have you listened to?

I didn't know it was just the beat. I thought it was the rap, too.

I don't really listen to rap. That's why I was so surprised when this captured me.

Jester 10-04-2009 09:16 PM

Nah, he wrote the rap. The original beat he rapped over is different, the video I originally posted is him rapping his song Bobmalisdada over a song by a band called Karate.

If you give him a chance, I think you can get to like him. Download some, and hold onto it. Whenever you feel tempted to listen, listen, you know? Don't force it. Songs I suggest specifically for you are Living Through Others, Bobmalisdada, Writer, Two Beats & A Bikini, The Boogie Man Screams Like a Girl, Hell Country, Duct Tape Rub[bear] Room. They're songs from each of his album, so if you'd like me to simply upload them into a mixtape type of thing, I'm willing to. Otherwise, get both of his albums and let him grow on you.

He's also got a great sense of humor. Example:

Second guy, obviously. The other one is Astronautalis.
