Yeah, like I mentioned before, I'm familiar with some of his stuff. I've never listened to that album though so I may check it out.

Good call on ЕстьЕстьЕсть, Bane! I'm really enjoying that album. Where did you hear of those guys?

Nice! I have no idea where I heard of them originally. You know how that stuff goes. Random forums, music mags, youtube recommendations, Reddit, live shows... I'm sure it was one of those.

I'm sure everyone's getting sick of my plugging this jam, but this "Uneven Compromise" song(?) by Lil Ugly Mane--though the name and his other songs may throw you off (until you look a little closer at his lyrical content)--it's really pretty freaky, at least for how it shifts narratives. If you're looking for Dalek heaviness and dissonance with a southern kind of swagger, i'd say look no further. The beats are mostly rooted in dusty nu jazz in the RZA way or Three 6 Mafia atmosphere and repetition, but just check out how it's executed on this particular song, which I won't post because i don't want to annoy anyone excessively, but it can be found in his thread, where i posted and described it, or on youtube, or on the Lil Ugly Mane bandcamp.

Sorry again, this thing's got me hooked though and i just have to tell the world

Default Rap/HipHop similar to these songs?

Hey, I'm not much into Rap/Hip Hop, but sometimes i come across some Rap/Hip Hop that I REALLY like, but I have a hard time finding more music similar to the ones I've already found.
I would really like to find more music like Mos Def's songs Mathematics and Hip Hop, Daylight by Aesop Rock and the intro for The Boondocks.
