Help a little?

Hey guys my friends and I were having some arguments and we settled on having musicbanter settle it so basically, he thinks that Drake,Eminem(lol cant spell) Jay-z, Far east Movement and some others are better than the Wu-tang, Nas, Aesop Rock, Andre 3000, Mf Doom While i believe the opposite.
Oh and he reliously hates on Beastie boys and Talib and Mos def.

Everyone on that list bar Drake and Far East Movement (only cause i've got no knowledge on him/them whatsoever) has influenced the rap game heftily enough to be considered legendary. I don't really understand your categorisation though, or your question. So I'm kinda stuck for what to say now.

I'm definitely on your side JackidyJack. MF Doom, Andre 3000 and Mos Def are some of my favourite rappers and I'm also a pretty big fan of Aesop, Nas and the Wu (especially their solo stuff; Raekwon,Ghostface, etc.). In general I would say that these rappers are more innovative and more interesting than those that your friend listed. To tell you the truth, I ****ing hate Eminem and I'm not too fond of Drake either. Jay-Z's ok, but he still doesn't compare. Also, being legendary doesn't mean that your good.

What needs solving? That's too broad of a subject if you're just asking who's better. Break them down individually.

@abear thxs!
@ bane basically it's like a poll do you agree with my choice or my friends

Not that I dislike his tastes, but yeah, I guess you win.

Nobody touches guys like Nas in my opinion, even as great as Em and Jay Z are (always thought Jay was really over rated though). I'm not feelin the new school guys like Drake, it's too pop-ish for my tastes. Rap of the 90s was way better than todays rap.
