Favorite songs from Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)
I intend to make a 3 choice poll, inspired by the London Calling thread.
Every time I listen to this album I realize how hard it is to narrow down the list to just a few favorites, but I think I'd be interesting to see what everyone else picks. Personally, I don't think there are any weak moments on the album, each song has something different from the others that makes the whole thing just so damn good. I know there are a lot of fans on here, so get to it, ya'll. |
Only 1 choice needed.
Da Mystery of Chessboxin' |

Bring Da Ruckus is so raw, so lo-fi, great example of early RZA production and a great introduction to the Wu-Tang Clan.
I also chose Method Man because I simply can't get enough of Meth's voice. Notwithstanding Ol' Dirty, Meth is easily the most unique member. Protect Ya Neck is just plain dope. |
What's the worst track for you guys? I was never a fan of Wu Tang Clan Ain't Nuthing Ta F*ck Wit.
|
If I had to pick, probably the method man remix. It just doesn't stand out like some of the others do, but it's still worth a listen.

I'm really fond of Bring da Ruckus, though.

I wish that triumph song was on this..
Probably gonna go with Method Man and Shame on a Nigga. I ****ing loved method man and odb's character and swag as a kid listening to them, even if they didn't say much with their lyrics. |

This is one of the best rap CDs of all-time, i could listen to it all day. C.R.E.A.M. is my favorite, Method Man second. But damn it's tough, too many good tracks. Love the WU. |

1. Protect Ya Neck
It's a classic, and it got me into Wu Tang. 2. C.R.E.A.M. Really chill song with awesome lyrics. 3. Clan In Da Front Just a bad ass song really... |
Bring da Ruckus, for it's lo-fi production, even little elements like the finger snaps add so much to it.C.R.E.A.M. is pretty obvious and Method Man is my other choice. These three are interchangeable for my favorite. Honorable mention to Da Mystery of Chessboxin'
|
I went with Shame On A Nigga and Method Man cause odb and meth are my favorite members, and the intro in method man. Also Da Mystery of Chessboxin' cause it's the shit. Honorable mention goes to Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nuthin Ta **** Wit
|
Anyone heard the Shame On A Nigga remake by System of a Down. Its actually pretty cool.

2. Da Mystery of Chessboxin 3. Bring Da Ruckus 4. Protect Ya Neck 5. Shame on a Nigga 6. Method Man 7. Wu-Tang 7th Chamber 8. Wu-Tang Clan aint nothin ta **** wit 9. Can It All Be So Simple 10. Tearz 11. 7th Chamber pt. 2 12. Clan In Da Front |
I just saw Wu-Tang last night and based on their live performance, I have to go with Method Man. He is one entertaining ass dude to watch on stage. Bring Da Ruckus was pretty sick though too...
