Ok I don't know if it's just me... But well I don't think Will Smith should continue singing.. No matter how handsome he is for his age, singing has CHANGED and so have the people in the industry.. Does anyone else agree with me that well WILL SMITH should STOP singing..?

i agree - managed to get hold of his new album and now i cant get rid of it!!

nah.. hes just doin his thing and he doesnt care whats hot today(g-unit, most mainstream crap) and he doesnt sing.. he raps. if you actually listen to the album and not just the first single (which i think is crap and the worst song on the album) then youd see he actually has something to say unlike the rappers who mostly talk about druggin pimpin, ho's, guns, and all that other stuff.

The best verse Will Smith ever dropped was for the Fresh Prince theme song. In fact, that was his best acting too. After that show went off the air, it's been nothing but corny hip hop anthems and fighting aliens.

No I havn't heard the album either. I only heard the single. It didn't sound very good, I don't know but something about it.

to me the single 'switch' is the weakest track on the album. i guess he tried to reach out to another audience or something. the album is much better than it. especially the track 'tell me why' with mary j blige.

I like will smith as an actor, he's very funny, but I'm not too fond of him as a rapper, I'll give him 1 thing though, he can rap without having to swear, a feat that the likes of 5ocent and co are unable to do!

i son't think he's a lyrical genius, he probably should've given it up after the whole fresh prince thing settled, but you must admit his intentions are good. i admire him for his i won't swear thing that he had before........

I think this thread is weak.

Fresh Prince is one of tha dopest MC's out there. Listen before ya judge him because of party songs like Jiggy and Switch. I'd like to see him battle some of the rappers out there dominating radio today, would be interesting to see. But I guess you just can't convince haters who will never listen for nothing.

I love him he just not what dat is when it comes to rappin no mo he ol news but i still watch his show.

You can't just hate him cause he's old.. Everyone should give "Lost And Found" , a dope album in the face of a lot of [the same] crap being released nowadays. Just give it a listen before you judge. That's why I even try to listen to the new releases before I judge any of the new artists.

^And he has lyrical substance, something lacking in most of mainstream rap today. A dope flow. Classics like Summertime, Girls, Parents, Brand New Funk, and Ring My Bell under his belt.

People only know him as WS the actor, WS as Big Will, always clean cut but then again WS is also speaking his mind, only keeping it real and not having to throw meaningless curses out there. Keep in mind when you curse it's nothing if you get your message out, but if you keep throwing **** out there for no reason, not trying to be original then you're wack. Fresh Prince has always kept it real, no matter what they say.

Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince are in their 20th year together, just a pity that people just don't want to appreciate them.
