What?

I just wouldn't call Gang Starr a collab. Duo or Group. The way I see it, collabs are only for one album and feature two big names joining up. Gang Starr released 5 albums, and it's the project that made both members well known.

Collabs aren't only for one album.

Jay -Z and R-Kelly did two albums together do you want to call them a group/duo?

Musical collaboration occurs when musicians in different places or groups work on the same album or song. Collaboration between musicians, especially with regards to jazz, is often heralded as the epitome of complex collaborative practice. Special software has been written to facilitate musical collaboration over the Internet. Websites have also been created to enable creative music collaboration over the Internet.
that's the official definition of it

Well according to that definition, Gang Starr isn't a collab. Like I thought.

how so? it doesn't state in that definition that it's just a one time get together thing.

It says that a collab is between two established artists from already established groups.
