Favourite horrorcore artist/group?
i gotta go with any of the artists from Massachusetts own Hy-Town Records
check 'em out at reverbnation. just search Hy-Town and they are under labels |
Gravediggaz
no need to look any further than that group. |
I second Gravediggaz as the clear cut kings of the genre.
|
I third that... pretty unanimous thus far eh.
|
What about that dude Esham? I heard he was good. I haven't Gravediggaz yet (but I downloaded it :D). I haven't heard Esham yet either, but I downloaded his stuff a while back.
|
oh I got into Necro a little bit. He's alright as far as horrorcore goes. I heard the name Esham but never listened to his songs.
|
Tech N9Ne, Gravediggaz and especially Kool Keith (his pornostyle **** is even funnier hahaha.) Crazy mother****ers :)
|
Tech N9ne isn't really Horrorcore.
Gravediggaz by far. |
Say Gravediggaz. Graaaavediggaz. Come on, say it with me. Come on. Graaaavediggaz. Come on.
|
I'll say it with you.
Normally I am not a huge fan of horrorcore stuff, but Gravediggaz is sick. |
I love Gravediggaz but I'm not exactly familiar with that sub-genre.
|
Horrorcore at its finest. I used to be obsessed with this stuff. But I will say it's the only 'horrorcore' I've ever listened to. |
^^me 2

It saddens me that I.C.P. would technically fall under this genre. I'm not all too familiar with it, but of the artists that I enjoy, the closest that I would equate to horrorcore would be R.A. The Rugged Man. His style is kind of campy in my opinion (He legitimately sounds like he is mentally inept). His lyrical topics range from ripping c*nts with huge d*cks, to blowing brains out with shotties, and raping wives while their husbands watch. That's pretty hardcore in comparison with the mainstream.

Here are some good songs from Necro.
Well the first one just features him but still good nonetheless I love his flow on the second one. |
King Gordy.
|
That Pharaoh guy sounds like Ghostemane.
