Big Pun: Fat, Puerto Rican, One of the Greatest Ever?

I was listening to Cookin' Soul's DILLA/PUN mashup album (entitled Big Dilla for all you haters out there who can't google it yourselves), and came accross a fascinating sample collection at the end of the song above. Numerous heads agree that Pun should be counted among the heavyweights of hip hop, such as BIG and Pac, and suggest that if your conversations don't include him then they aren't valid in the eyes of purists. Thoughts? I've never included him in any of my top ten lyricists but I haven't really delved that deeply into his discography to have that learned of an opinion. Anyone agree with the idea that he is top ten?

He most definitely is Top 10 material.
Dude had a sick flow, really good lyrics with a great delivery.

I rate him ahead of Tupac anyway.

Not going to lie, I only ever heard of him when Kanye referenced him in The Glory. Not a huge fan of the sound, but he's obviously way up there on the skill list

Mmm...Sometimes I feel like he's Fat, but most songs I feel like he's just Puerto Rican.
