Default Quasimoto

I was really surprised to find out that there's no thread on this guy, and based on what you lot listen to (with the exception of matious), I'm guessing 90% of you haven't listened to this. The Unseen is one the dopest albums ever. Period.

It's madlib with his voice raised a few octaves. Apparently he recorded the unseen on a shroom binge.

dope post man, Quasimoto's one of Madlib's better projects, but come on... 90% of people on here haven't heard this? Madlib gets a lot of love on here...

sometimes "Quasi's" voice kinda bugs me, but Madlib came correct on the beats. basement beat classic

The Unseen is easily one of my favorite hip hop albums. The Further Adventures of Lord Quas is okay but nowhere near the same level.

Presumptuousness is ugly.

Microphone Mathematics (the song) has been considered a classic for nearly a decade. I'll admit, when I first heard it I didn't know it was all Madlib and for a while I thought he had a midget or something on the mic with him.

I always thought this was a DOOM alias, cuz he's mentioned it a couple of times, but i think that was on Madvillain anyway. I've heard Quasi on there too, but like i said, i thought that was Doom then.

I Will Check it out.

Been a Lord Quas fan I first heard him PBW's My Vinyl Weighs A Ton. The Unseen is easily one of the best alternative/underground hip hop albums to ever come out IMO, and yes Quasimoto is one of Madlib's alter-ego's, the album was produced entirely on mushrooms, and instead of altering his pitch higher, Jackson actually lowerd his recording speed, rapped even slower, then sped up the recording to create the signature Quas voice.

I'm somewhat of a Stones Throw nut, I've been checking their website every day for as long as I care to remember lol. Some of the best Quas **** is on Lib's Beat Konducta Vol. 4-5; A Tribute to...
