Boots Riley is a badass. My favorite track is Repo Man, but I haven't gotten deep into their work. I seen them at Rock the Bells and gave them a cursory listen for the show. Solid live performance, solid group.

i'm sure there's plenty of 80's and 90's hip hop that you haven't heard

if you dig around a bit, you'll find a grip of artists to enjoy

even though that's my favorite time in hip hop, we don't need a bunch of 80's/90's rehashing, if you like that sound just dig for it man
