I'm lookin for a career in music too, just started making my own little beats not too long ago with fruity loops.

i used to program beats on the Commodore Amiga

and rapped over it

it was nothing short of atrocious and i have never tried it since

Just recently I was thinking that it would be pretty cool if we (anyone on MB who wants to join in) made a mixtape just for the hell of it. Anyone who wants to produce could throw in tracks and anyone who wants to rap could spit a verse or two. It'd be really easy. People could just use audacity to record themselves rapping and then they could send the file to me or anyone else who has the proper software to combine the acapella with the instrumental.

Anyone wanna give it a try?
