That was pretty ridiculous, ha.
When did this originally come out, ha?

dude i remember buying a bootleg juveline cd from my boy in like 7th grade, i think it was reality check hahah. some of my earliest memories of getting faded were to that album.

Sparky 04-18-2012 01:47 PM

juvenile drops a classic verse on this too

The beat is perplexing to say the least.

Aww damn. It's been too long since I listened to this Cash Money stuff. They've got a bunch of bangin stuff like:

Hot Boys - Guerilla Warfare
BG - Chopper City
Juvenile - 400 Degreez, G Code
Lil Wayne - Tha Block is Hot

How many y'all dig that stuff? Mannie Fresh was the genius behind it all so props to him.

Sparky 04-27-2013 11:13 PM

mannie is doing some stuff for yassim these days just a tidbit

i grew up listening to these songs on the school bus in the morning so i have a certain nostalgia----but thats most of the appreciation.

I will forever laugh at how their verses on bling bling comes off sounding a bit fucked up because almost no one is able to rap and stay on beat.

Sparky 04-27-2013 11:22 PM

certainly an interesting period

SGR 04-28-2013 05:27 AM

So Sparky and djchameleon, what are your fav Cash Money albums?

djchameleon 04-28-2013 02:31 PM

TBH, I've only listened to Wayne's albums all the way through.

For Wayne, It would have to be Tha Carter 2 and Dedication 2

I was also hooked on Juvenile's Cocky and Confident but only the single. I think I listened to the album once and forgot about it.
