Sparky 05-09-2012 09:24 PM

Jester 05-09-2012 09:27 PM

Killer Mike album is awesome, reminds me of Ice Cube with the rawness of his rhymes, production is also super tight too.

Goofle 05-10-2012 08:00 AM

Anyone got a proper DL link?

14232949 05-10-2012 09:25 AM

I've got the link if anyone still requires it, just PM me.

Sparky 05-10-2012 02:50 PM

butane goes really hard :D

14232949 05-10-2012 03:16 PM

Yeah man, I prefer the Ronald Reagan song though.

Sparky 05-10-2012 08:34 PM

If you took the best songs from Cancer For Cure and combined them with the best songs from this you would have a great, surprisingly cohesive record.

true that

Phantom Limb 05-12-2012 11:46 AM

I really like the album, but sometimes Killer Mike just sounds stupid.

Goofle 05-12-2012 03:35 PM

Mike is a little stupid at times, but you can't expect a full album with basically no features to produce completely thought provoking lyrics. Probably my favourite album I have heard from him. Sh*t bumps.

I credit him for sounding better than what i had heard from his prior releases, his second verse on butane is really dense, sounds like he's doing an EL-P impersonation.

Yeah, maybe stupid is a little too harsh. I don't mean to make it sound like I don't like him though, cause I definitely do like this album. Props to El-P once again.

Agreed.

Goofle 05-15-2012 11:21 AM

I certainly don't prefer it. But it is a decent album.

Phantom Limb 05-15-2012 05:23 PM

Strangely enough, I think I prefer this to C4C as well. Killer Mike is growing on me.

thespins 05-16-2012 05:52 AM

I've just given it one listen but I'm certainly very interested. The Ice Cube/Big Boi cross is definitely what I was thinking too. Up there for the best (Hip Hop) album of 2012 so far.

Goofle 05-16-2012 06:25 AM

Not for me. It's okay, but I prefer C4C, that Quakers album, Heems' tape, the Billy Woods album and of course The Money Store.

Sparky 06-12-2012 11:40 AM

lol
