Thoughts? I hear that CM is actually Flying Lotus, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. He has Earl and Flying Lotus on the album. I'm a fan.

You are correct about Captain Murphy being Flying Lotus

There is a lot of Odd Future connections with Captain Murphy and that probably is why I haven't checked him out yet. Outside of 'Yonkers', I can't think of a single OFWGKTA project I've liked. However, when I found it was Flying Lotus, my interest peaked and I probably will give this a listen at some point. But I promised myself I would listen to Rare Chandlers and I haven't done that yet and I'm much more looking forward to that.

Are you an EARL fan at all? He was my first exposure to OF, and the only reason I think I give their clique any credit.

I'm not sure I've heard any of Earl's work outside of the OFWGKTA collective, and perhaps he's just being dragged down by the mediocrity around him. I think Tyler has some talent, but his track record says otherwise for me. But nay, this is a Cap't Murphy thread!!
