A nice throwback to old school Hip Hop with decent personal lyrics that don't deal with the usual subjects (bling, guns etc) that is so prevalent in commercial Hip Hop these days. I haven't got hold of her debut album Speech Therapy and I have only heard a few tracks but there's enough here for me to get the album.

Anyone got the album? Thoughts?

i didn't really like her voice. Her delivery was lacking something. Cool beat though.

Well I managed to get the album and really liked it. Good to hear flow in an English accent and with lyrics that are interesting and not cliched.

I really liked the instrumentals and the beat, but I have to agree with matious here in saying there is something about her voice that is a little grating.

What was your favorite song on the album? Got a vid for it?

I'm at least intrigued enough to look into her more. Voice didn't bother me, and I liked that she avoided the standard female rap topics: her pussy, sex, etc.

I've had Speech Therapy for ages, and racked up a few listens through, but for some reason it hasn't really grabbed me. I've held back on deleting it, just because I really like women in hip hop so I guess a part of me wants to like the album.

Listening through it now, I think the production is a bit sweet/soft without achieving a poppy level of catchiness. Most of the tracks don't have hooks worth mentioning, which isn't strictly necessary, but it would help the cut the sappiness.
