The problem comes when prof. reviewers review stuff after one or even two listens.

Ohh, this is true. I didn't think about this.
I guess you can expect only so much from a review if it's labelled "first listen."

How do we know, then, that there are professional reviewers doing the same thing?

sometimes an album doesnt need more than 1 review anyway. you got the rappers who want you to just take it at face value then the ones who want you to appreciate the nuanaces of rhyme then other ones who want you to dig in really deep and catch the micro metaphors throughout and hidden meanings after the 20th listen.

im not sure if j cole is under rated or underrated, i guess it depends on context. on the internet probably over rated, with the public probably underrated. i do understand where he is coming from in that guys spend a lot of time making tunes and want it to be appreciated and not judged after 1 listen. i think PROFESSIONAL critics should be doing that anyways, with any album.

I mean, the dude ought to know. If you're a born sinner, you're the opposite of a winner.

Some rap artist, he is.

That's friggin crazy. People are silly.

Over the course of the album he talks about being born a sinner doesn't mean staying that way or something along those lines.
