I was surprised to see not 1 Meek Mill thread on here, he is not actually bad at all. Any complaint about him, would only be about his yelling. To me w.e thats his character.
He just recently released his very anticipated mixtape DreamChasers 3
I've had it on repeat and it doesnt get old to me.

What are your thoughts on Meek?

Well Meek doesn't have this own recent thread so I just had to bump this dusty thread off.

He's currently beefing with Beanie Seigel, The Game and he tossed off a Drake diss there.

I don't think he's really beefing with Drake but more so with the other two.

Also Dreamchasers 4 should be coming out soon. It was supposed to come out in September some time but it's still not out.

You say that like most freestyles aren't written. Almost all of them are nowadays.

and I think it's lame. Don't call it a freestyle if you wrote and practiced it before hand, call it what it is. Let's raise the standards in hiphop a little, huh?

Well it just comes down to there being two types of freestyles, the written ones and the ones that are off the top of the dome. I used to be a diehard purists like you and only give credence to off the top of the dome freestyles but over the years I've come to appreciate written freestyles just as much and I don't feel like one should be superior than the other when it comes to talking about freestyles.

...but that written category is literally not freestyle...

It's not even an issue of good or bad.

the term freestyle now includes writtens though, they have been done that way for so long that it's the norm.
