Why do you say that?

Cuthbert 02-14-2014 02:37 PM

Presumably he thinks they are crap.

Goofle 02-14-2014 02:41 PM

Because anybody can download their discography whenever they want.

Cuthbert 02-14-2014 02:42 PM

But this is legal.

It is legal and also to commemorate the anniversary of their album.

Goofle 02-14-2014 02:50 PM

Useless was a stronger term than necessary.

But it's fair to say that the large majority of people who previously wanted the De La Soul discography would have already bought it or downloaded it (legally or not).

Cuthbert 02-14-2014 02:53 PM

Yeah, but it's a smart move and has given them some publicity. Probably got a few new fans too. I wouldn't have got it if it weren't for this.

djchameleon 02-14-2014 03:08 PM

Yeah I am a De La Soul fan but I don't have their entire discography. So I appreciate them doing it.

Moss 02-14-2014 07:26 PM

Getting it right now, guilt free, so I appreciate it. Thanks for the link.

Psychedub Dude 02-15-2014 10:39 PM

That's really cool of them to do that of course I missed it :|

djchameleon 02-16-2014 05:23 AM

You didn't really miss it.

Can forward the links onto you if you want.

dca 02-16-2014 03:35 PM

did anyone manage to get the "Remixes Rarities and Instrumentals" one? it was the only one I ticked but when they sent me the email there was no download link inside

also it wasn't their entire album discography because 2004's 'The Grind Date' was missing from the list

Frownland 02-16-2014 04:03 PM

Ja I had the same issue.

ok thanks for the info. I've either already got or don't need those.

btw I absolutely hated AOI Mosaic Thump. the complete opposite of what De La Soul were at the start. lame chart rap! (IMO!). AOI 2 Bionix was better.

Um, that would be illegal, sir.
Can I have your ID, passport, and put your hands where I can see them.

:)

Anyways, heard this tune?

Just mucking about.
I thought it was fun.

I picked these up during the weekend...very influential group.
