The Underachievers
The Underachievers are an American hip hop duo from Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2011. The group is composed of East Coast rappers AK and Issa Gold. American record producer Flying Lotus signed the duo to his Brainfeeder record label in 2012. Following their signing they released two critically acclaimed mixtapes, Indigoism and Lords of Flatbush in 2013.
Took that from wiki but they are pretty good. Anyone a fan of their work? I shared one of their mixtapes with Goofle and he thought they were just meh/okay. I guess if you aren't in the Beast Coast scene then you wouldn't like this either but I'm into them. |

i saw these guys live last summer and it was really cool. got to meet Issa and AK before the show, sound guys.

listen to the flatbush scene alot through late 2010 to about 2014 haven't heard really anything from any of them since but what I was listening to from them all at the start was wicked |

Most of the content they made after indigoism apart from the Flatbush collaboration - Clockwork Indigo is pretty mediocre, including the rather disappointing beast coast album. However I think indiogism is an Excellent mixtape and definitely worth a listen same with Clockwork indigo - if you’re into the mob, PE, FBZ etc
