yo', where do you record? Commercial studio or at home?

If the latter, what is your recording set up? Equipment brands, models, etc.

I use a blue snowball mic with a basic pop filter and audacity and I get such inconsistent-sounding recordings from my voice and I don't think it's got good range for capturing the full spectrum of tones in my voice. I am looking to upgrade but gotta wait 'til the New Year (tax reasons), hahaha...sound like Kevin Hart right now. The way my checking account work...
