Which Hip-Hop Genre Should I Explore In My Journal?

See the above poll for the options, and vote. Simple as that.

G-Funk. I feel like all of the others are already discussed enough on here or have been in my MB career.

G-Funk is my favourite of those, so it'd be good to see more of it on here. Will lurk in the journal if it wins.

Personally, if you want to get into real hip hop, trip hop may not be the best choice. I love trip hop, however. I suggest hardcore. Some of the best hip hop is hardcore hip hop.

Not much to say here, but my vote for for Experimental.

TechnicLePanther 01-01-2016 02:26 PM

Ah ****...

Looks like I might be doing Experimantal Hip Hop.

:banghead:

(Not mad about the genre, just mad about the typo.)

Either alternative or experimental for sure. There's a ton of great material out there for you.

Try jazz rap first. It's got cool instrumentals that will help out if you aren't into the whole speech-as-music thing that hip hop haters rely on to dismantle the genre.

Hardcore hip hop for sure. I wanna see you review ICP.

Alright, gonna wait another week or so, and then begin on the most voted. I will be doing all of them eventually, but using this poll to guide in which order I do them. If there's a tie, I'll just choose which I'm more interested in.

By the way, you guys know you can vote for more than one, right?
