Anyway, anyone else a fan of this guy? He is a legend imo and has made so many great songs even though 'skills' wise as a rapper he is average at best. Tomorrow marks 15 years since he dropped this record though:

Haven't heard any of the stuff he did with that guy from Leeds as it's hard to find. Wonder when he will make a return.

It strikes me as one of the most sincere and emotionally raw hip hop songs I've ever heard. I also love the sound looping. It's like a precursor to glitch. Very hypnotic and beautiful.

Check Computers & Blues mate. It's a really slept on release. I think people were harsh on it because HWTMAEL was bad and EIB was hit & miss.

Na it is. It's an 8/10 release and his 2nd best album.

Mixtape in 2019, then a film and the new Streets album in 2020. The film and the album are apparently the most ambitious things he's done and are part of the same project, apparently has been years in the making and blows everything he's done recently out of the water.

Very exciting imo.

I'm kinda glad Skinner has been a bit of a culture vulture this year, without that I don't think there would be a new release

Here's hoping Devilman does a bit more and out puts some mad stuff next year also

Yes there is so much talent coming out of this region. Jorja Smith and Lady Leshurr have been killing it as well.

Imo the album lacked a solid stand out track. It needs a “dry your eye mate” or “stay positive”

Thought it was good tbh Hawk. There is no big single on it I agree.
