I dig it. Saw Peach Scone first and was skeptical but ended up watching all his videos over the next few days. I feel like the more I heard the more genuine I perceived him to be. But I'm a sucker for slam poets and minimalist beats and awkward stage presence. I do feel like I need to see pay stubs from the last 6mos.

The two I heard weren't very good, but I'll do a deep dive later into his stuff and make a more informed opinion.

I kind of lost my steam for this dude, but I still go back to him when I'm in certain moods, tantamount to Elliott Smith or Conor Oberst. BrightEyes got me through a lot of tough times.

hadn't heard of this guy until a few days ago; the couple songs I heard were very bad. I guess he's "genuine" but maybe he shouldn't be so

Found out about him through this song, which I thought was hilarious. Outside of the writing being funny, I loved his delivery on it.
The rest of his music I just can't get into though. Thought it was semi-interesting first time I heard it, but that novelty wore off quickly, at least for me. |

Yeah I lost all enthusiasm for this dude pretty quickly. I still think the tiny desk audition video is solid but I cant believe people pay to see him live. Manufactured awkwardness lost its charm fast, now it gets me heated tbh. |
