Old school
This thread is for the sharing of old school hip hop/rap related music. Preferably pre 2000 but if it goes past that but sounds/feels like a track from a bygone era I'm open to it. Basically use your discretion.
Also, feel free to give some commentary on the tracks you post. Especially the year they were released, and any info you have on the way you think they impacted their era at the time. But if not just post your tracks here. All are welcome.
Here's a track from a Boot Camp Click affiliate, OGC. Very similar to / stylized after Wu Tang. Year 1996.

Quote:
Old-school hip hop (also spelled old skool) is the earliest commercially recorded hip hop music. It typically refers to music created around 1979.[1] Old-school hip hop is said to have ended around 1984, due to changes in both rapping technique and the accompanying music and rhythms.
