If its covering a ska song then that doesn't count.

Ska has been played acoustically sense its first incarntation.(wailing Wailers-This Train) If you think of a guy sitting on his poarch in America playing blues on guitar head on down to jamaica and its the same thing with ska. Horns play a part in ska but not nearly as important as you try to make it. A guitar is probobly the most importan instrument in any ska band acoustic or not.

Technically wht makes ska ska is the guitar and the wa its played(emphasis on upstroke) deep flowing bass lines, maybe a little organ shuffle and maybe some horns but all thats needed to play ska is really a guitar.

Ugh I'm sleepy and that websites ska bio thing was pretty uncomplete I wouldnt take anything they had to say to much to heart bt there wa some good info
