The other day my friend was asking me if ska kids have a certain look. I never really thought ot it before until she mentioned this to me. I'm well aware that "rude boys" go with the traditional pine stripe suit type thing going on. But what about "Rude girls"? Any particular look? Just wondering....

Theres a diffrence though.
I dress the way i do to pick up ladies.
I dont do it to reflect what music i do.
I mean i dont actually listen to fall out boy and blink 182 anymore.

Rude Boys/Rude Girls in England during the 80's, used to wear;

Rude Boys;
Old style gangster suits with trilby hats.
Fred Perry polo shirts.

Rude Girls;
Two Tone 60's style dresses (black &white checks)
White shoes.
Also wore Fred Perry polo shirts (top button fastened was a must).
Trilby hats also worn by girls.

I only asked because I never gave it much thought before. Good God! So shoot me because I'm curious. I listen to ska music and don't give a **** about what I wear...

There really isnt much of a stereotype nowadays.
I no a few guys who wear fredperrys and drainpipes with braces.
I know lots of guys into striped suits.
Its either skinhead or ska-kid I guess.
No guys really wear hats anymore.

Rude Girls seem to have a chelsea bangs hairstyle.
But tbh, a straight fringe, with random colours does just as well, and my ears stay warm. XD

Ska style is what skins dress in even to this day. Including skingirls. Prrrrrr!
