ska just bores me. i guess i can understand why people like it, but personally it just doesn't do anything for me at all. i like some No Doubt and The Specials but that's pretty much as far as it goes for me.

Idk, most people I know have no idea what ska is. They're more interested in psychobilly/K-Pop/post-punk/prog/insert random semi-obscure genre here.

I once went out with a guy who claimed to be really into ska. Of course. His favorite bands were Reel Big Fish and Less Than Jake. He had no idea what I was talking about when I referred to 'the second wave', and tore me a new ******* when I mentioned Operation Ivy.

I like ska, but it's not my favorite genre. I'm more inclined to ska-punk.

I like Ska, I dig it's vibes, but would never have a ska song on my playlist or anything. There was a Hemp Fest at my university which basically was on the quad all day and had a bunch of local jam bands and ska bands and I sat and got high. The impression I got from ska was horn sections, which was cool, and the fact that skanking reminds me of a rapid goosestep which made me curious.

Fun music but can be monotonous at times.

I LOVE Ska-Punk.
Rancid, Transplants, Less Than Jake, Streelight Manifesto, etc.
So good. Very catchy, some of it makes you wanna dance too. Lol.

I love ska music, but people in my school don't really listen to ska at all. They're more into mainstream bands and stuff like that. Catch 22, Andrew WK, Reel Big Fish, Less than Jake<3
