They definitely were Ska punk in their earlier albums, but their last two albums were really pop punk with minor ska parts and really sparing use of their horn players. As pop punk they weren't that bad really. Hopefully though they turn back to a ska punk style in their upcoming album.

Definitely would agree with that. I was a little disappointed at the lack of horns in the last few albums, but I can't say it was bad. Heard snippets of the new album, hopefully it'll be good, especially since they're not with Warner Brothers anymore.

Sorry, I'm not really into this particular genra. However, I was wondering, is Less than Jake the same band that did that song "sell out" like 10 years ago?

that would be Reel Big Fish. A very good band IMO.


so I have the new album GNV FLA and I have to say its quite awesome. A lot more ska punk and Handshake Meets Pokerface is now one of my favorite Less Than Jake songs.

anthem is really their only good album except for maybe the one with the superman guy on the cover...cant remember what its called and i havent heard their new album
