Catch 22

I hear the new Catch 22 is pretty sweet.

it comes out June 27th....

Lemme know what you think

IMATOOL 06-12-2006 12:14 PM

oh i thought this was about the book hahah

swim 06-12-2006 03:35 PM

^the book's awesome.

Who's in the line up?

White Lies 06-14-2006 05:57 AM

The book is indeed awesome.

I used to love Catch 22, but i dont really listen to them anymore. Keasbey Nights was great, once Tomas left though i didn't really dig them. So i don't expect the new album to be that great.

Spittin' Willie 06-16-2006 07:42 PM

Thomas was a prik and I dont much care for him at all good sir.

swim 06-17-2006 07:16 AM

There are a lot of great musicians who are pricks. I love Tomas's style.

I've always loved their music. One of my favorite songs by them was "NEver Ending Story." I first heard of them a few years ago, and I thought they were going to be a punk rock band. But I was surprised at to their taste and style of music they're put into their songs. So now I'm listening to "Never Ending Story" on Naspterlinks, and reminded of when I first heard this song. It was the catchiest thing I've heard in a while. What do you guys think of this song?

I like the new Catch 22. If you haven't heard it yet, check it out on Victory Record's website.

I think it sounds like a great summer album.

We already have an empty thread on them in the ska section.

The book kicks ass.

_Spinning_ 06-30-2006 12:44 AM

It's just not the same as Dinosaur Sounds and Keasby Nights...
Of course it's still great, but I prefer their older stuff With Thomas...

I <3 Thomas...

A friend of mine gave me some of their songs a while ago, and I meant to find some more but never got around to it these are the songs he gave me:

Dear Sergio
Coulda Been
It takes Some Time
Hard To Impress

I liked them so do they have better stuff?

swim 07-06-2006 09:52 AM

I concur. Dinosaur Sounds has the majority of my favorite songs on it.
I think that's a good place to start. :)

MoonlitSunshine 07-07-2006 07:02 AM

Cool. Now to find it....

MURDER JUNKIE 07-07-2006 07:36 AM

Dinosaur Sounds is a complete TURD

Keasby Nights is the only GREAT album
Alone In A Crowd is a good album

Ghostbuster3000 07-07-2006 02:15 PM

Catch 22

This band are quite cool if you want a bitta' Ska in your life. I've only heard a couple of songs, but they cheer me up every now and then. I recommend downloading 'Keasby Nights' if you fancy a right good skank.

right-track 12-04-2006 12:19 PM

Any chance of an up? :)

Muzak 12-04-2006 02:32 PM

Fantastic band. Keasny Nights is a must for anyone who wants to get into Ska.

Oh you're so right.

I should have upped DS.... :(

swim 12-04-2006 05:02 PM

Lol. I hear Streetlight is going to release a new one, and by this I mean really new not some god damn covers that sound so similiar that I don't care, in like march or februrary.

_Spinning_ 12-04-2006 05:05 PM

Oh yum.

I will await that to see how well it's done.

Their re-release wasn't THAT bad.

swim 12-04-2006 06:39 PM

It wasn't bad. It was just so close to being the same that made me say wow did I really spend however many minutes listening to this knowing I'm not in love with the first one anyway.
