His new cd, Welcome to Jamrock has been out for awhile now. Personally i think the cd is amazing and I can listen to it from beginning to end. Love his lyrics and the way he conveys them.

What do y'all think?

I think "All Night" is a pretty good track. I'm eager to hear the rest of the CD.

Yeah, Damian Marley is sick

I like Damian's sound.
And I love the songwriting.
it's a tad gritty and edgy, just the way i like it.

I find I can only really enjoy a few songs from each of his albums, the rest tends to be fairly average. "Welcome To Jamrock", "The Master Has Come Back" and "Road To Zion" are probably the only three tracks that stand out on this album. That being said those three songs are excellent.

I like him a lot. He's a good songwriter.

"Road to Zion" is my fav...and i have to agree. He's playing in my town with Ben Harper in a couple of weeks...I can't wait!

The entire cd is great. I actually like every song and that is rare for me.

yeah, i agree with that. I don't know why but Move is one of my fav. I guess cuz there's a lil bit of exodus in it..I like that :love:

Damian Marley is opening for Ben Harper in my town next month, and I don't know whether it's worth $40. Thoughts?

If you like Ben Harper it is if you don't it's not.

i love dameon marley, well all of the marleys pimpass paradise is my fav. track on that cd

Jr. Gong is great. I'm not a fan of "reggae rap", but he's a good songwriter. I saw him at bonnaroo last year and thoroughly enjoyed him breaking out into his version of his father's song "Exodus". I'm looking forward to his performance with Ziggy this year.
