Default Dub Side of the Moon

Have you guys heard this CD by The Easy Star All Stars. For those of you who don't know, it's Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon redone in reggae/dub style..

I've been listening to it a lot lately and was just curious what other people thought about it

I've been playing it a lot myself recently.
I'm pretty sure it's the first cover version album I've ever heard.
I'm very familiar with the original (Floyd's, dark side of the Moon) as I've had it on vinyl for years.
I've also been into Reggae/Dub for many years so when a mate told me of the album you mention I was very keen to hear it.

My thoughts are that the Easy All Stars have managed fantastically to recreate a version on the original that maintains all the magic of Floyd with a thumping mid 1970s dub style.
It's very good I reckon.

This is a pretty cool compilation, I must say. I especially like "Us and Them." It's got more of a trip-hop feel than a dub/reggae feel for most of the song.

I'm bumping this thread.

LesPaul I have Dub Side Of The Moon, if you still want it.

Also have a great album that's' well worth a listen by this band.
Done in the same way as the covers for Pink Floyd only this one is called Radiodread. No prizes for guessing why.

Anyone interested?
