I'm listening to a band called The Fad at the moment. They have potential if they can stay away from trying to sound like every other Ska-Punk band on a few of the tracks.

Toyko Ska Paradise Orchestra.
New York Jazz Ska Ensemble.
yeah, all five on my list are ska-p

1. The Slackers
2. Tim Armstrong (poets life) or [spunge]
3. The Toasters or Toots
4. Mustard Plug or Skankin' Pickle
5. Mad Caddies or Planet Smashers

Edit: I can simply not leave out The Suicide Machines...

Hah, well everyone pretty much covered everything I wanted to say...
But let me see if I can pull out something not named:

[spunge] - Essential 3rd wave, youtube spunge roots

Common Rider

Vandals - they have some ska stuff

The Slackers - Why is no one saying slackers??? (homework, listen to "Wasted Days" and "Rude and Reckless")

The Planet Smashers
Mustard Plug
Can't Hang
The Holloways - Generator ( I have no idea how I found this)
The Clash - I still consider them somewhat skaish no matter what you might think.
eh... Sublime?
Slightly Stoopid
Slow Gherkin - good stuff
Ska-P
Save Ferris
Pepper
Patent Pending - more childish (check out "Cool Club")
No Doubt
NOFX
Mad Caddies
someone said Chockin' V. - mad props out to them, and let me add Leftover Crack and Morning Glory if I may...

They are from Tewkesbury which is just a couple of miles from me. don't matter because they are pretty poor really.

Ska-P are OK. I forgot to mention SKA CUBANO. They do exactly what it says on the tin!

A Billion Ernies. They're screamo/ska but so good, imo of course.

1. The Specials
2. The Skatalites
3. Toots & The Maytals
4. The Selecter
5. Desmond Dekker

I'm mainly a two tone boy. Third wave doesn't appeal to me.

You really should listen to THE SPECIALS. A band that still sound as fresh and vital as they did over 25 years ago.
