He hails from the Ivory Coast and has been making music for over 25 years. A lot of his music has political connatations and his albums typically contain a mixture of French, English and native languages. His roots reggae and sometimes outspoken views have denied him the success that he so richly deserves.

Underestimated

I wasn't too impressed with his release from 2007- 'Jah Victory'. He seemed to have dropped the roots aspect and upped the dancehall aspect which is my least favoured side of Reggae. However the comp 'Radical Roots From The Emperor Of African Reggae' is a great album
