Have you checked out "The Dub Side of the Moon" by the Easy Star All Stars? One of the best reggae dub albums in my opinion. It's basically a cover of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, but it's incredibly well done!

It's a lot more than that, it's like a huge tribute to Floyd, a complete re-imagining of Darkside and they even do some cool reprise versions of a few songs. Easy Star All Stars are so awesome, Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Dub Band is also epically awesome. :afro:

Easy Star All Stars also does covers of the Beatles.
They have a CD called Reggae Mondatta or something like that, which covers The Police.

I love Sly & Robbie's cover of the Led Zeppelin classic D'yer Mak'er. Sly's crisp one drop drumming is a striking contrast to John Bonham's sledgehammer drum sound on Led Zeppelin's original version.

The vocalist is Mark Ice, a relative newcomer to dancehall music scene. Ice has sweet sounding voice than reminds me a lot of Johnny Clarke one of the first generation root reggae stars of the Seventies.

I love this cover of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here by African reggae artist Alpha Blondy.

Mos Def has an excellent album called Mos Dub. I think it's a mix tape. Not strictly covers per se but amazing mashups of Desmond Dekka and Jimmy Cliff with Mos Def lyrics. mixtapetorrents (dot) com has it I think.
