Ska-P, Streetlight Manifesto, and Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution are all new artists that I've found in the past few months.

Ska P are pretty solid. Have you heard Ska Cubano? They sound exactly as the name suggests and it's just so much fun! Bandits are a new one on me. Is it decent Ska and not that pop guitar claptrap I hear far too much?

LoathsomePete 06-02-2009 10:51 PM

It's good, but I'm not sure how ska it is, I got it in a compilation pimp but it's really solid stuff. I'll get it upped for you in a day or two, I've got a few other things that need to go up before hand.

As far as Ska Cubano is concerned I have not heard them before, but they have spiked my interest and will do some research.

There's a group from Michigan called Monkey Jacket, some may have heard. they are more or less pop/punk with ska influence. The vocals are neat however, and Hello, Solo is a catchy tune. :-)

Other than that though, I'm sure most of the suggestions I can give have been said already. honorable mentions go back out to The Specials and The Toasters though.

Ska artist

I Voted For Kodos are nice guys but since they lost their entire horn section they sound more like a ska-influenced pop-punk band.

Regards & Thanks

The Aquabats and Big D and the Kids Table are cool, along with some of NOFX's stuff.
Some more Ska-Punk/Ska-core bands are Operation Ivy, Leftover Crack, Choking Victim,
Oh, and 311 is really unique, I would definitaly give them a listen, My favorite is there s/t.

These guys are more Pop-Punk but there still pretty good, as much as I don't like Pop-Punk
Rancid
Less Than Jake
Goldfinger
and the Assorted Jelly Beans are really cool, I highly recomend them, similar to Operation Ivy listen to there self titled album.
I probably shouldn't even bother saying this since I know you know these guys but Sublime.

If you havent heard catch 22 or bandits of the aucustic revolution id easily back up the people that suggested them. Also, MU330 and Suicide Machines, at least their old stuff. Oh and new catch 22 sucks taint after Tomas Kalnoky left to start Streetlight.
