Default The Prigs

So I went to a Cat Empire gig in New York City, and they were opened by this band that I fancied a lot ... but no one knew who they were at all, then later, when I leave, see 'em outside and find out they're a Brooklyn based band called 'The Prigs'

Really ace ska group, i found.. but I'm pretty sure they're unsigned and rather low scale. Great band though , has anyone actually heard of 'em?

Here's a song: "Glass Slipper Shoe"

They're REALLY American xD But I like them

Judging by that track I'm not digging. Sound like a Pop band with a horn section.

They were loads fun live, though. Put on a good show, for certain.
I can't recall any of the tracks specifically they had played, nor would I likely be able to locate a decent version on youtube, but i liked 'em!

A lot of Ska is much better live as the energy is amplified and for a lot of modern ska that's where it's at. Were The Cat Empire any good?
