Default The Redskins

Couldn't find a thread on these happy chappies, so I might as well see to it that there is one. Coming somewhere between the second and third waves of ska, this here's a bunch of Yorkshire lads who mixed up their ska and rocksteady influences with punk, rockabilly and a dash or two of soul. A pretty dynamic sound then.

They've just got the one studio album, this being 1986's Neither Washington Nor Moscow. Very good stuff. Rare as hen's teeth too - up until I managed to find a copy online, for years I'd only been able to listen to it on some crusty 12" vinyl copy.

A couple of videos to brighten up your morning - have a gander or don't;
